CHALLENGE
Second largest Film Festival in the Northwest, Seattle Jewish Film Festival (SJFF),  needed a new voice and identity. Over the years it grew in scope showcasing major award-winning films from all over the world. However, its audience was limited to the core supporting community and it didn’t have a brand nor voice to reflect appropriately what it has become. The revised brand needed to convey the festival's expanded value as a major cinematic arts event, become more visible overall and attract wider, more diverse, audiences.
SOLUTION
We started with devising the brand strategy that set SJFF positioning and the co-branding architecture with its parent organization, AJC. We designed new identity, the festival’s anchor visual and rolled out print and online campaigns.
RESULTS
The effort not only paid off by boosting SJFF presence, but for the first time in its history the festival actually made money. Mazel tov!
